Adam Hoffman, L.S.
Principal / Director of Surveying

  Mr. Hoffman began his surveying career back in 1978 when he worked for his uncle, Bernard Godfrey. After graduating from Paul Smith’s College, he worked his way from rod-man to transit-man and eventually party-chief.
  In 1988 when Adam received his Land Surveying license, he and Mr. Godfrey formed Godfrey-Hoffman Associates. After 12 years of a great partnership Mr. Godfrey retired which left Mr. Hoffman with the entire business.
  Mr. Hoffman is now responsible for the daily operation of GHA, contract negotiations, estimating, and manager of the survey department. He evaluates and approves all projects for the firm and performs customer relations management. He is involved with each project from inception through to completion, including design review, budgeting, cost controls, billing and final client approval.
  Adam is and a member of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors, American Congress on Surveying and Mapping, Board of Directors for Tower One – Tower East, Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, Quinnipiac Chamber of Commerce, Probus, Home Builders Assoc. of New Haven as well as a member and former president of The Southern Connecticut Proprietors Council.
  Mr. Hoffman resides in North Haven with his wife and two daughters. In his limited free time he enjoys skiing, hiking, bicycling and most of all watching his daughters play soccer.

David Corcoran
Surveying

  Mr. Corcoran began surveying back in 1985 for Bernard E. Godfrey, whom in 1988 along with Adam Hoffman formed a partnership which became Godfrey-Hoffman Associates.
  His responsibilities include all aspects of property surveys such as land record research, field work, office computations, computer drafting and design; as well as the supervision and training of staff.
  David grew up in Hamden, Ct. and attended Lyman Hall High School in the Vo-agricultural Department. Attended Southern Connecticut State College in New Haven, Ct., and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Associate of Science degree in Geography. David resides in Hamden wife his wife Gloria and daughter Stephanie.
  He enjoys the outdoors; hiking, camping, canoeing & fishing, and playing sports including Ice Hockey, Tennis and Horseshoes. One of my favorite places to be is in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.
  He is a Member of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors and the Appalachian Mountain Club.

Calvin Weingart
Surveying

  Calvin began working at GHA in 1998 as a Rodman. Since then he has worked in all areas of surveying including record research, field data collection, drafting and map preparation, construction stakeout and office calculations. In June 2005 Calvin tested for and received NSPS-ACSM Certification as a Survey Technician (#0605-2255).
  Calvin received a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 1994. After graduation Calvin began working in the manufacturing industry at Lynn Ladder and Scaffolding in New Haven, CT. His duties as assistant to the Superintendent included production scheduling, managing inventory, and employee discipline. In 1997, Calvin left Lynn Ladder to become Supervisor of the Laminate Department of Revest Northeast in Manchester, CT. His department was responsible for producing laminated work surfaces for office furniture solutions. Calvin’s duties included production scheduling, material procurement, human relations, and interaction with corporate sales teams.
  Calvin served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Security Policeman from 1995 to 2000. Calvin resides in Hamden, Connecticut. He enjoys family time, hiking, cross country skiing and playing guitar.

Christopher Gagnon, P.E.
Engineering

  Mr. Gagnon began work at Godfrey Hoffman Associates in 2009. His responsibilities include engineering design, site planning, project management and preparation of submittals to town, state and federal agencies and presentations of submittals to various agencies on behalf of his clients.
  Before joining Godfrey-Hoffman Associates, Mr. Gagnon was a Senior Engineer with McFarland-Johnson Inc. located in New London, CT. While with McFarland-Johnson he managed the site/civil component of projects for clients including Indian Tribes, private universities and secondary schools and private developers. During his time at McFarland-Johnson Mr. Gagnon became well acquainted with many of the rules and regulation which are unique to the Telecommunication industry. Mr. Gagnon was the lead engineer for multiple Telecommunication facilities throughout New England. He participated in the design and permitting of various projects from the erection of new towers on raw land to the co-location of antennas on existing structures including buildings, smoke stacks or existing radio antenna towers. His responsibilities there included engineering design, project management, and preparation of submittals to town, state and federal agencies and presentations of submittals to various agencies.
  Before joining McFarland-Johnson, Mr. Gagnon worked for various engineering and surveying firms in New England and Oregon. As his experience increased so did his responsibilities. He prides himself on fostering constructive relationships with both clients and the regulatory bodies responsible for reviewing his client’s projects.
  Mr. Gagnon holds a Professional Engineering license for the State of Connecticut. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Union College.

Conrad Brejwo
Engineering

  Mr. Brejwo has been working with Godfrey Hoffman Associates since 2006. His responsibilities include engineering design, site planning, project management and preparation of submittals to town, state and federal agencies and presentations of submittals to various agencies on behalf of his clients.
  Before joining Godfrey-Hoffman Associates, Mr. Brejwo was a CAD Technician for Donald W. Smith, Jr., P.E., Consulting Engineer, located in Seymour, CT. During his time with Mr. Smith, Mr. Brejwo became well versed with the procedure of implementing civil engineering design through CAD programming. His responsibilities there included engineering design and preparation of submittals to town, state and federal agencies.
  Mr. Brejwo obtained a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Southern Connecticut State University.

Maria Latella
Office Manager

  Maria is responsible for assisting our office staff with many diverse duties. She has strong people skills and offers friendly guidance to our perspective clients. Maria is also responsible for assisting the surveyors by providing them with some preliminary research on all incoming commercial and residential surveys. She also assists the Accounting department with everyday operations.
  Maria’s past experience includes working as an Executive Assistant for Pasquariello Corporation in New Haven, CT. She has also worked as Loan Officer for Sterling Financial Group in Branford, CT, and for Security Link in Milford, CT her positions were New York Hub Accountant and Corporate Accounting Coordinator. Prior to this, she carries with her other experience mainly as an Executive Assistant.
  Maria holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Along with her husband, she enjoys devoting her spare time to their 3 boys, all of which are die hard travel hockey players.

Buddy
Man's Best Friend

 Buddy has been with GHA since 2004. He holds a Masters degree in Philosophy and he minored in Fung Shui. Buddy brings with him many years of experience along with a plethora of life lessons and amazing Karma. Prior to working at GHA, he had not found his true purpose in life. Now that he has a permanent position at GHA he has adjusted his once hectic schedule to working on an “as needed basis”.
  When not at GHA, Buddy enjoys chasing squirrels and sleeping. He also enjoys long walks on the beach, playing volleyball (on the beach), and eating peeled grapes while having his belly rubbed (on the beach). When indoors, he enjoys watching “Discovery Channel” , “Animal Planet” and “Everyday Italian wth Giada DeLaurentas”. He loves listening to John Mayer, Frank Sinatra and Green Day.
  Buddy has strong interpersonal skills. He is our front person at GHA and greets everyone with his very warm personality. Buddy also is responsible for all of GHA’s building security. He believes the secret to a long life is simple. Get up, eat, get rubbed, sleep, repeat as necessary. Buddy still lives at home. Buddy, by far, is our most loyal employee. We love Buddy!
